The UK Health Security Agency has responded to AEGIS regarding positive
cases and contacts of Omicron variant. Here is the latest guidance for
overseas students:
- Pupils aged under 18 years 6 months who
have been identifies as a close contact of COVID-19 should attend an education
as normal. HOWEVER, if they are a close contact of
someone who has been identified as a suspected or confirmed case of the Omicron
variant, they MUST self-isolate for 10 full days
- Pupils who are self-isolating should do so at their usual
place of residence, namely, in the case of boarders, at the school
- Boarders aged under 18 (not “18 or under”)
arriving from a red list country may quarantine at the school
