About the School
Wimbledon High School is an independent day school which is regularly ranked in the top 20 in the UK for their A level and GCSE results, and also a GDST school.
WHS is a Microsoft Showcase School to bring technology in and outside the classroom. There is also Bring Your Own Device initiative to encourage students work collaboratively online.

Exam Results and University Destinations
In 2021, at GCSE, 95% of the grades were 9-8, and 99.7% were 9-7. At A-Level, 66% of the grades were A*, 91% were A*-A, and 96% were A*-B.
In 2021, 93% of the leavers went on to their first choice of university, with 9 successfully going on to Oxbridge.
Extra-Curricular Activities
Rowing is a popular sport at WHS. Year 7 students will have the opportunity to experience rowing and choose to join a club thereafter.
Situated in the tennis heartlands of the UK, WHS also nurture talent on tennis, running a year-round Tennis Academy, and tennis sessions at lunchtimes, weekends, and in the summer term.
Facilities
In the STEAM Tower, apart from the Design & Technology Centre with Resistant Materials workshop, DT suite and Textiles, there are also KS3 Science lab, Art studio, and Sixth Form common room with private study spaces and kitchen.There will also be a new Sixth Form Centre opening in September 2022.
